This photo portfolio is a small sampling of the many unique signs that have been designed, fabricated, decorated and installed by our talented team. This is a tool that will not only show you our capabilities but will inspire the potentials that can be applied to your project.
Each photo link will direct you down a different avenue of possibilities.
Our expert Sales Staff will work with you to analyze your unique signage needs and guide you through the development of a game plan for supplying a product that meets your expectations. After working closely with our creative Design Group, you will receive a design direction that would tastefully fit the aesthetics of the projects environment.
Following the selection of a design and acceptance of a budget, your assigned Project Manager will guide you through the steps of developing a fully complete system. In collaboration with our Sales Rep. the PM will formalize shop drawings, and create a copy list & location plan. Your involvement in the review, revision and approval process is crucial. This critical step establishes document controls for the production and installation phases of the project. At this time the project is scheduled for production, materials ordered and fabrication can begin. Production will move through the many stages of Fabrication, Decoration and final Assembly.
The Fabrication stage includes converting the raw materials into the basic sign chassis, frames, and sign blanks based on the predetermined and approved shop drawings. Our extensive shop has capabilities of CNC Routing, various cutting and shaping equipment, welding, and the handling of a wide variety of materials.
The Decorating stage applies multiple techniques such as, Painting, Vinyl Application, ADA Photopolymer plaques, Laser Engraving, Silk Screening, Laminating, and Digital Printing. These elements are added to the various sign components that are then prepared for final assembly.
Assembly is a time to check the quality and accuracy of the components against the original approved shop drawings. This final stage of production includes the verification of counts and copy as the final signs are assembled and marked with their unique location number. This numbering sequence is essential for an efficient and quality installation.
The use of the approved shop drawings, sign schedule, and location plans are important tools for our installers. These documents along with the installer’s extensive exposure to ADA requirements provide for a seamless conclusion to the project.
Western Michigan Sales Representative
Outside of my busy work schedule, I enjoy cooking (should have been a chef), putting around the lake, spending time with my family and friends and tackling home renovation projects. My husband and I are blessed with two wonderful adult children, Kelly and Quinn.
Eastern Michigan Sales Representative
In addition to my devotion to my career I am blessed with a wonderful life. I have two fantastic sons; one going to Michigan State Law School and one that is attending the University of Michigan. I am so proud of both of them! I also love to spend time with my significant other and best friend Lee at our cottage in Pentwater MI. We have recently become boaters and are having the time of our lives. Life is indeed good!
As a Project Manager, I support and direct our clients through the details, facilitating teamwork and finally bringing the job to a successful completion. Listening to the customer’s needs and providing solutions are a critical part of the process of keeping projects on track.
When not at work I enjoy spending time with my amazing family & friends. Walking in the woods or by the lake are some of my most relaxing times, but I am equally at ease in the middle of a little town with antique shops. I enjoy cooking, seeing plays, reading a good book, savoring dark chocolate and sipping a good glass of cabernet.
When I’m not at work, I love spending time with family and friends…faith, laughter, and love are priorities in my life! I actively participate with many ministries through my church. One of our outreach ministries very near and dear to my heart is our youth community mentor program, in which I am co-chair and an active mentor. I am also chair-person for our art and environment committee (flowers & décor). This ministry allows me to tap into my creativity and love of design and decorating by enhancing our worship space with color, fabrics, fresh flowers and plants.
Outside of work, I enjoy taking photographs, and going to car shows during the summer. I also enjoy spending time with my wife Kim camping, traveling, kayaking and snowshoeing. We have 2 grown children, a son living in China, and a married daughter that lives nearby us.
I am very pleased with what Visual Entities has accomplished since our beginning in 1989. Seeing how the company continues on a path of prosperity without my direct involvement also gives me satisfaction.
It always has been about a team effort at Visual Entities, and the successful transition we’ve experienced proves that out. Trusting with faith, at times, what has been unseen, and in the efforts of dedicated employees and partners frames where we are today.Proverbs 16:3,9…..Commit your activities to the Lord and your plans will be achieved. A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord determines his steps

When I am not at work I am having fun playing with and coaching my 2 children Sam and Maggie. It is so much fun to watch them grow and be involved. In the summers my wife Heather and I enjoy taking the kids camping, and tubing on our boat.
I have been married to my husband Jack for 39 years, have two grown children, two wonderful grandchildren, and a “granddog”. When not working at VE, I enjoy bicycling, kayaking, yoga, reading, and cooking. My husband and I have also done extensive traveling around the US and Europe. I also do the books for a flooring company in the area as well as income tax for family and friends.
When not at the office, my wife Clairanne and I enjoy perusing local re-purpose shops and planning our next crafting or home building project. We also cherish the time with our two sons, their beautiful wives and, of course, our incredibly perfect three grandchildren. It is no secret that I would always be happy to spend time on the golf course or the water.
I have been blessed with two amazing, talented boys. They are both in a band which I am a big supporter of! When not rocking out to music, I also enjoy spending time with my animals, cooking, watching movies, boating & going to amusement parks.
My wife Kelly and I love spending time with our daughter Macey and our son Jackson. When the four of us are together, there is the promise of inspiration and a hope of adventure. Most of all I am thankful for a loving creator, to whom I owe all of these and many more wonderful blessings.
At home in Holland, I enjoy working on my small house, my dream is to design and build a new house some day. I love the beach, good food, music, movies and most importantly hanging out with friends and family.
My interest of signs started in 1975. I have obtained and developed many skills pertaining to the sign trade from hand lettering to large format digital printing. I love it .. so many changes over the last 42 years.
I enjoy staying current with the lastest & greatest techniques. I've been researching the world of 3D printing .. wow .. unlimited potential there!
Outside of the ever changing sign industry .. I do have a life with my best friend and beautiful wife, Babette. We enjoy golfing and spending quality time with our kids, grandkids and our dogs, FlapJack and Snickers. :)

When I'm not at work I'm tinkering with my trucks (a 1966 Ford F-100,and a 2014 Silverado), or riding/working with my 1952 John Deere B in parades, and steam and gas shows. While living in the country is an adventure and challenging at times; it keeps me occupied with shooting my bow, fishing, and farming, but mostly fabricating and building things that my friends and family find on Pinterest.
Outside of work, I enjoy hunting and fishing and spending quality time with my friends and family. I love to be outdoors, and hot or cold, I have a hobby for every season.
Art is just as important to me after work. I do pencil illustrations, prints and intricate shadow boxes. My other love is music —I’ve played guitar since middle school. Currently, I play bass with local band, Cabildo. I moved here from South Bend, Indiana to marry my wife, Stelle. We enjoy music, dancing, cooking, the great outdoors, time with family and creating a harmonious home.
