Visual Entities Inc. incorporated in 1989, and was founded out of business experiences originating some 14 years earlier. Ed Bezilla, Visual Entities Founder and President began his career in signage by holding sales positions with American Sign and Indicator, Spokane, Washington and Van Houten Signs, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Visual Entities Inc. owns and occupies a 12,000 sq. ft. facility, and throughout the years the company employs between 15 to 20 people. The diverse and dedicated staff, designs, manufactures, and installs quality custom architectural signs for interior and exterior applications. Visual Entities started by representing APCO Graphics, a world leader in the architectural signage, and Visual Entities continues to represent APCO Graphics today.
As Visual Entities grew, so did its capabilities. The skills of Visual Entities employees grew also due to the demand for unique products, and interesting sign solutions being requested by prospects, clients, and the A/E community. Challenged by these opportunities the company added internal processes such as welding, painting, routing, and assembly. The company also increased its decorating capabilities with vinyl cutting, digital printing, laser engraving, photopolymer processing, raster braille processing, and our own VE3D® sign making process. When project needs can’t be met with in-house capabilities Visual Entities will team with pre-qualified companies and craftsman who possess unique fabrication skills. Together with these partners we achieve exceptional results, and the creative aspects of a project would seem to be nearly endless.
Visual Entities project portfolio eventually expanded to include unique donor plaques, interactive history walls, and displays. The effect of working on these tribute projects was a lead in to the design, planning, fabrication and installation of major history walls for The VanAndel Research Institute (VAI), and Accident Fund, a Michigan based insurance company. In the collegiate market unique tribute pieces have been created for Hope College, Ferris State University, University of Michigan, and Michigan State University to name just a few.
Visual Entities has found great success in the Healthcare market due in part to our understanding of this unique environment. Clients such as University of Michigan Health System, Oakwood Healthcare System, St Joseph Hospital and Trinity Healthcare System, Metro Hospital, St Mary’s Mercy and Indiana University Health Systems are loyal Visual Entities customers.
With the release of VuEase®, a patient information board product line for healthcare, Visual Entities is meeting patient, staff and hospital needs with a flexible product that communicates patient information at a competitive price.
We have established a significant regional client base for this product with interest continuing to grow across the country.
As summarized by Ed Bezilla……….
“I think what is most satisfying is that a team effort built a business based on providing good products and services in a unique sustainable way. I’m proud to say we’ve never compromised our foundational principles to be fair and honest in our business dealings.” “Our success and client retention makes it apparent clients appreciate what we are doing.”
“It seems a businesses will have a hard time flourishing without taking care of people, both clients and employees. So right from the beginning we treat people with respect and with courtesy. That alone may not get the business or enable us to hire a good employee, but if coupled with a good track record our hope is the combination will attract clients and employees who are seeking a loyal and dedicated company with high character and principles.”
“Visual Entities has truly been blessed by having that occur, and it can be said our employees exemplify the principled people good clients are attracted to.”
